Scheduled for launch in 2017 for the HTC Vive, the one and a half minute reveal trailer offers up a brand new perspective at Fallout 4’s Boston Commonwealth. Combat will take on a whole new dimension as players will swap out their trusty controllers (or keyboard and mouse) for some VR peripherals, thus adding in an extra element of urgency and difficulty in the proceedings. While V.A.T.S was not shown off in the trailer, the trusty PipBoy makes a return as part of the VR user interface, promising an interesting extra element into how enemies can be taken down using Fallout’s trademark targeting system....

As revealed by Bethesda earlier today, Fallout 76 is adding non-cosmetic microtransactions to the game in the form of Basic Repair Kits. Basic Repair Kits will be sold in Fallout 76’s Atomic Shop and can be used to repair damaged items. Normally this would be par for the course of an online-only game, but Bethesda insisted in the past that it would never be adding anything except cosmetic-only microtransactions to Fallout 76....

For the sake of context, in order for Fallout 76 players to properly engage in combat with someone, the opponent has to fire back for it to be classified as a legal kill. Otherwise, should one kill another player without having them shoot back, they become a wanted murderer, which makes them visible on the map to everyone, hides all other players on the map from them, and even allows teammates to legally kill them....

In 2007, Bethesda Studios purchased the rights to Fallout from financially struggling developer, Interplay, whose money-woes still haven’t ceased. Whilst Fallout 3 was in development, Bethesda opted to license out a Fallout MMORPG deal back in Interplay’s direction. However, Bethesda now want the license to the game back and Interplay is screaming about several breached conditions in the contract in what has turned out to be one of gaming’s worst legal battles....

The credit is $3,600 annually for children under the age of 6 and $3,000 for those aged between 6 and 17. Six months of payments were advanced on a monthly basis through the end of 2021, with eligible families receiving $300 monthly for each child under the age of 6 and $250 per child over 6.
