This exploit allows players to deliver some brutal melee attacks against a group in children in the game. The video shows how the attacks play out on a PS4 version of Fallout 4 without any mods or console commands. Earlier this morning at around 9:00 AM ET, Bethesda took Fallout 76’s servers offline in order to rectify these problems, with the company primarily planning to use this downtime to remove items that have been created through duplication exploits from player inventories and stashes. According to a post from the Bethesda Community Manager known as Valseek, “These removals are highly-targeted at a specific list of items,” and those items should be removed from player accounts once maintenance is complete....

Fallout Shelter will be receiving a massive update in July that will drastically change the way the game is played. Rather than being limited to the vault, players will be able to send their vault dwellers out into the world in groups to perform quests. While vault dwellers could previously explore the wasteland for supplies and caps, this is the first time that the game will allow players to visually follow their vault dwellers and see locations beyond their own vault....

However, the use of microtransations for optional cosmetic rewards is generally viewed as benign, with 69% of gamers viewing microtransactions of this type as acceptable. In addition to the revelation of Fallout 76 having such a sumptuous amount of side content when it releases, Bethesda’s Project Lead for the game, Jeff Cardiner, also recently explained why the action-RPG won’t be feel as chaotic once everyone has hoarded a bunch of ammunition and weapons. According to users on Reddit, the .esm files of the Fallout 76 update make several references to “Lunchboxes.” One of the strings found in the datamine includes “Lunchbox Activator EDID changed from POST_ATX_LunchBox to” which suggests that Lunchboxes–which aren’t presently in the game–will be purchasable with Atoms, which is the title’s premium currency. Other strings indicate that there could be tangible gameplay buffs for those who open these Lunchboxes.
