Yovanny Lopez died two days after Clarisa Figueroa and her daughter Desiree Figueroa were formally charged with the murder of 19-year-old Marlen Ochoa-Lopez on June 12. Her body was later found at an address at West 77th Place on May 15, with her unborn baby cut from her body. Pixel artist Countgate is the latest to add to the long list of fan artists to reimagine Lady Dimitrescu in different styles, using their signature look to give the character a retro makeover. Although just a demo at the moment, a hardcore fan-base has got together to create a 2D version of 2002’s Metroid Prime, known simply as Prime 2D. Referred to as Team SCU, these dedicated gamers have been working hard on the project which was originally touted as a joke, but has since emerged as something real. Although a recreation of the GameCube classic, this version of Metroid Prime is more in keeping with the aesthetics of the original Metroid games from a bygone era, with its pixelated visuals and two-dimensional side-scrolling antics....
Earlier yesterday, a tweet was posted which showed that user Krollywood had been issued with an email from Ubisoft saying that MGM had taken down fan made Goldeneye maps which had been created in Far Cry 5. The post claims that because the custom levels of the classic 1997 game had become more popular due to exposure, it seems as though Ubisoft and MGM caught wind of the creation and took efforts to remove the content, citing copyright infringement....
However, it was not perfect. A lot of the collected companions did not shine as much as Fawkes, Butch, and Charon from Fallout 3; or Nick, Curie, and Hancock from Fallout 4. In fact, DLC companions like Joshua Graham, God/Dog, and Christine were more popular to Fallout fans than main companions like Cass, Lily, and Raul. This is why, if there ever is a sequel or remake, it would be a great move to shake up the companion roaster....

As it turns out, Bethesda has modeled Fallout 4’s shooting mechanics after Destiny, the popular FPS/RPG hybrid from Bungie. A major factor behind this is that both Destiny and Fallout 4 are locked at 30fps, making Destiny an ideal reference point for the Fallout 4 designers when it came to creating the game’s combat system. CNN’s graphical gaffe was spotted by Redditor Poofylicious who wasted little time in making a screenshot of the news network’s usage of the terminal from Fallout 4 within its story on real-life cyber-espionage, with the user going on to post the still on the open world title’s official subreddit. For those unaware, CNN originally aired the story on December 28 of the last year, with the piece covering President Obama proposing sanctions against Russia for its supposed role in cyberattacks targeting the United States....
As one would expect, Update 1.7 also includes plenty of fixes for the post-apocalyptic title, such as one persistent problem involving some dog armor for Dogmeat not properly equipping on the German Shepherd companion.
