Whether the intention was to brag about its catalog of games or tease its fans, the Twitter account for Obsidian Entertainment displayed its history of games starting with its very first title from 2004, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords. As fans trace the history, a trio of question marks can be found at the end of the Tweet, hinting that the studio has something else cooking up behind the scenes.

Over the past year, the studio has been linked to Fallout quite often with rumors hinting that the studio is working on a new game set in New Orleans. Developers at the studio, including game director Chris Sawyer, have gone on record saying they’d love another opportunity to work on the franchise, and even Obsidian co-founder Chris Avellone has posted a cryptic Fallout-related image on his personal Facebook page. While all of these rumors could just as easily mean nothing, many fans would like to believe the old saying that where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

Whether or not Obsidian is working on a sequel to Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout: New Orleans, or something else entirely remains to be seen. In the meantime, fans will have to stay tuned to see what’s next from the prolific studio.
