What Bethesda first calls attention to is that Season 7’s Dr. Zorbo’s Revenge is the continuation of a story it’s been telling since Season 1. In Fallout 76 Season 1, Captain Cosmos and Dr. Zorbo battled as part of “The Legendary Run,” which Dr. Zorbo lost. In Season 7, players will be supporting Dr. Zorbo’s effort to become Emperor of the Universe. That includes helping recruit a team of dastardly villains and building a war machine to defeat Captain Cosmos.

Players will do that by progressing through Fallout 76’s new Zorbo’s Revenge Scoreboard, which is, of course, a battle pass style of content unlocks. Progressing through the scoreboard’s 100 ranks will unlock content including Power Armor and weapon skins, C.A.M.P. objects, in-game currency, Perk Card Packs, consumables, and more. Some of the new content teased includes a Dr. Zorbo outfit, an Alien Shooting Gallery, Zetan ornaments, a hatchet-wielding West Virginia Slot Machine, and more.

Season 7 of Fallout 76 also includes two new allies to be unlocked. Xerxo is a ghoul in a spacesuit claiming to be an alien from the Zubulon Empire, while Katherine is an astronomer/conspiracy theory investigator. Xerxo will offer a buff to lower fast-travel costs and increase agility, and Katherine’s buff temporarily reduces energy ammo weight and increases perception. Neither ally will partake in adventuring with the player, but they do have unique voice lines to build their characters.

The last feature Bethesda calls attention to for Dr. Zorbo’s Revenge is two new radio plays to listen to. Fallout 76 players will be able to listen to Dr. Zorbo’s efforts to assemble a group of villains to fight Captain Cosmos. Expect plenty of Fallout shenanigans in the radio plays.

The community calendar for Season 7 of Fallout 76 makes clear that there’s plenty more to come in the game’s future. January, February, and March will each have new Community C.A.M.P. Creations, plus March will bring with it a new Seasonal update and event to enjoy. Expect to hear more as Season 7’s December 8 start date approaches.

Fallout 76 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
