For those who still haven’t played Fallout 76, or hasn’t been able to log in for a while, the December 11 update introduced significant changes in the game that include C.A.M.P. construction and placement improvements, Push-to-Talk hotkey for voice chat, and 21:9 Resolution support on the PC.
It is no secret that Fallout 76’s launch was rough and Bethesda promptly issued an apology saying that it will “work to make a better bridge” between fans and the dev team to ensure that the concerns of players reach the right people. The latest fix resolved common issues including the increase of stash limits for players, power armor suit problems, respawn problems, and many others.
Despite the initial criticism, Fallout 76 still made the list of the best selling games of November 2018 according to NPD. Although Fallout 76 did not top the list, the game was able to get fourth place behind Red Dead Redemption 2, Black Ops 4, and Battlefield V.
Even though Fallout 76 made the top tier of the best selling games for November 2018, it is worth noting that the game has sold less than its predecessors, Fallout 4 and New Vegas. Additionally, Fallout 76 topped our list of the 10 most disappointing games of 2018 alongside titles such as Sea of Thieves and Metal Gear Survive.
Fallout 76 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
