Bethesda’s popular, post-apocalyptic RPG series drops players into a strange future world where they have to scrounge resources and survive in a nuclear wasteland. One of the franchise’s most iconic and sought-after assets is, of course, power armor, which allows players to take a more head-on approach towards the mutated monsters and dangerous environments prevalent in the world. Fallout 4’s wasteland is full of materials which players can use to craft a diverse range of weapons, items, and mods that allow them to modify their playstyle however they like.

A post on Reddit from the user known as DragonHeinie includes a clip showing the player sniping off gunners from a faraway vantage point. After picking off their first target, one of the surviving enemies can be seen fleeing after turning partially invisible through the use of a Stealth Boy. However, thanks to Fallout 4’s power armor that was apparently equipped on the player’s companion, the attached targeting mod allowed them to see a red outline around the invisible enemy.
Fallout 4 is constantly giving players new features and places to discover, even 7 years after the game’s launch in 2015. Not only that, but hilarious glitches that are occasionally witnessed by players make for some funny clips that are shared around the community. As many fans of Bethesda games will know, the studio is infamous for the wacky bugs that are commonly seen in its games, Fallout or otherwise.
While the Fallout 4 community is still going strong, some of the fan base have moved on to the latest installment of the series Fallout 76. Although the game was initially received poorly by much of the gaming community following the myriad of game-breaking glitches, performance issues and disappointing content, its status as an online multiplayer game along with the regular content drops and DLC packs have given the game another breath of life over the past few years. That said, Fallout 4 remains the latest singleplayer entry to the franchise, which is the preferred style in many players’ minds.
Although Bethesda currently has a lot on its plate, primarily the development of the highly-anticipated Starfield set to release somewhere in 2023, the studio has confirmed plans to develop Fallout 5 in the future. With little to no other information regarding the next installment, many fans will continue to content themselves with Fallout 4 until the next post-apocalyptic adventure is ready to go.
Fallout 4 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
